Why I chose it: Recommended by a team member whom I hold in high esteem.

What I especially liked about it: It served me as a practical 'guide' in my constant (futile) attempt to slow down the mind and find peace amidst the chaos. It has truly supported me to live more mindfully and purposefully, to build healthier habits, as well as to re-evaluate my values and virtues. This book was followed by many life changing decisions - it brought to light what I had long suppressed in my subconscious. On top of all this, Jay Shetty is both eloquent and entertaining, just the 'voice' I needed to pace myself after a 12-hour work day.
