BCBA Therapist
We are on the lookout for an experienced and resourceful Board Certified Behaviour Analyst to join our growing team of professionals. Because of the nature of the vacancy as well as TAASC priorities, the chosen person must be a compassionate and dedicated individual who loves working with children and making a difference.
Abilities:
Communicate knowledge effectively in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and Ethical Standards in Behavior Analysis
Conduct new client assessments
Conduct and monitor behavioural assessments including Functional Analysis
Develop individualised behaviour intervention plans
Conduct and monitor behaviour interventions
Form part of our multidisciplinary team
Guide ABA tutors, supervising when required
Take ownership of client files, ensuring all remain organised and up to date
Systematically review and update client treatment goals
Update and behaviour intervention plan as needed
Meet with parents and conduct training on how to follow plan in home setting
Attend related meetings to ensure consistency, accuracy, and that the client's program is on target.
What we offer
Flexibility. We do set a target number for all clinicians to reach monthly, but how and when you see your clients is in your control. While the most common setting is within the TAASC clinic space, we also offer online sessions which can be carried out from the comfort of your home.
Involvement. Although no longer a start-up, we are still constantly looking for ways to improve and grow. Take ownership of your tasks and get involved with your suggestions.
Learning opportunities. It’s great if you’re someone who likes learning on the job, but we also offer regular training sessions for our team. Guidance and support will also be offered by the whole team of professionals.
Requirements:
Must be a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst
Minimum of one year experience
Experience in different settings is a plus
Experience working with children with ASD
Excellent interpersonal skills
Fluent in English
