Martina Ebejer graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology (Honours) with the University of Malta in 2020 during which she served her role as Member Representative of Malta with the European Federation of Psychology Students Association (EFPSA). She then read for a Masters in Forensic Psychology at Coventry University in 2021. As part of her course credentials, Martina researched the Knowledge of Warning Signs of Intimate Partner Violence within the Maltese and British context. Martina has gained work experience with the Foundation of Social Welfare Services as a Social Welfare Professional supervising care and court order access visits between children and their parents. She also has experience working as a Learning Support Assistant with students with learning and intellectual difficulties. Meanwhile, she contributed to a number of research projects regarding mental health and wellbeing.
Martina is currently working as a Forensic Psychology Practitioner with the national Mental Health Services, where she carries out risk assessments and interventions with minors and adults as inpatients. She also works within the community services where she works with but not limited to: mood and anxiety, addiction, adjustment and relationships.
