Julian Caruana graduated with a B.Psy (Hons) from the University of Malta and a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology from London Metropolitan University, UK. He has experience working therapeutically with both adults and minors across a variety of presentations including depression, generalised anxiety, PTSD, phobias, panic disorder, substance abuse, bereavement, social anxiety and self-esteem issues, and further also conducts couple therapy.
Mr Caruana also has experience delivering psychological interventions targeting the social, emotional and behavioural difficulties experienced by children, adolescents and adults with ADHD and ASD. He is currently contracted by the Jesuit Refugee Service, Malta, to offer psychological assessment and therapy to refugees and asylum seekers and to provide training and consultation in the field of trauma and migrant mental health. Mr Caruana is also a senior visiting lecturer with the Department of Psychology at the University of Malta
