Ms Christina Gauci - Speech and Language Pathologist
Ms.Christina Gauci graduated with a B.Sc (Hons) in communication therapy from the University of Malta in 2008. She has experience working in different settings such as specialised autism centres, schools and hospitals and has also worked as an educator in a school these past five years.
Christina takes on different roles related to her profession and this includes working as a lecturer, preparing workshops to empower caregivers with skills needed to support their child's speech, language and commuication development as well as creating children's programmes such as social skills programmes for individuals with autism or ADHD.
Due to her variety of work settings, Christina has experience working in a multidisciplinary team both in the academic and medical sectors. Within the TAASC team, Christina is involved in the assessment and intervention of speech, language and communication- related difficulties in children. She believes in ongoing professional development which ensures that she stays up-to-date with the latest research and therapeutic techniques.
Christina is available at TAASC on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and on Wednesday afternoons.
