Ms Ylenia Gatt, Speech and Language Pathologist

Ylenia Gatt graduated with B.SC (Hons.) in Communication Therapy from the University of Malta. During her studies, Ms Gatt undertook placements with children with various difficulties and conditions including ASD and speech sound disorders. In her thesis she validated a speech test on Maltese older adults.

Within the TAASC multidisciplinary team, Ms Gatt is involved in the assessment and intervention of speech, language and communication-related difficulties in children. She encourages child-centered planning by collaborating closely with the clients’ caregivers to deliver evidence-based intervention as well as making adjustments to meet the needs of each client.
